The AI-based Saffron Authenticity Detection System was launched
The AI and Robotics Center of Golrang Industrial Group, in collaboration with Novin Saffron, Faran Shimi Company, and researchers from prestigious universities, have developed a state-of-the-art Saffron Authenticity and Ranking System. This system leverages a combination of the latest analytical device technologies, machine vision, and artificial intelligence.
Dr. Morteza Mousakhani, the New Technologies Consultant of Golrang Industrial Group, stated in an interview with Iranians Startup: "In line with providing health products with authenticity to customers and buyers, and ensuring consumer rights as one of the stakeholders in the field of social responsibility, the AI and Robotics Center of Golrang Industrial Group, in collaboration with Faran Shimi and Novin Saffron, has developed a quality and genuineness monitoring system for various domestic and foreign saffron products. This system, accessible to traders and retail customers, and easy to use, employs cutting-edge equipment."
He explained that during the purchase season from farmers and when buying from sellers, laboratory methods were not feasible on-site due to the significant time and cost involved. This system, developed with the participation of researchers from prestigious universities, will soon be available to applicants. Additionally, other systems based on AI applications in neuro-marketing, healthcare, and intelligent assistants are products of this center, all of which will soon be available to the country's leading businesses.

The quality and authenticity of saffron products are of utmost importance.
